Contacting us

Please send all correspondence to us my email to contact@fawnandblue.com.

Contacting you

If we need to contact you regarding your order, we will contact you using the email address and phone number provided by you when placing you order.

OUR CONTRACT

How we will accept your order

Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

If we cannot accept your order

Our products are only available in very limited quantities as offering you and your dog a special product that you won’t see everywhere you turn is part of who we are. However, this may mean that we are not able to accept and/or fulfill your order. If we are unable to accept your order for this (or any other) reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund you in full. If we consider that an alternative product would suit, or we are able to fulfill some but not all your order, we will contact you to discuss.

OUR PRODUCTS

Products may vary slightly

The images of products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display accurately reflects the colours of the products.

We are proud that all our products are handmade. However, this means that all sizes and measurements indicated on our website may vary slightly.

Making sure your measurements are accurate

We are committed to ensuring you get the product you want, which meets your requirements and are always happy to discuss your needs with you before you place an order.

If we are making a product to measurements you have given us, you are responsible for ensuring that those measurements are correct.

MAKING CHANGES

Making changes to orders

If you wish to make a change to an order you have already placed, please contact us as soon as possible. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate your requirements, we cannot guarantee that we will have the stock necessary to do so. If may not be possible to change your order after it has been placed, particularly where you have requested a bespoke service. We will advise whether the change is possible as soon as reasonably practicable and liaise with you as to any change in cost and delivery times.

DELIVERY AND DELIVERY COSTS

Our approach

We try to make delivery as cost-effective as possible. If you live locally to Bristol, we would be pleased for you to contact us in order to arrange to pick up a delivery in person (for example, at a trade stand or similar).

Costs

We generally charge £2.50 for UK delivery.  However, from time to time, we may offer a special rate.  However, please refer to our charges displayed on our website.

Timeframes

We aim to despatch all orders within 5 working days.  We will advise you as to expected timescales if this is not possible for any reason.  From time to time, there may be a notice on our website and/or social media advising of a short term variation to our usual delivery times (for example, if we’re taking a short break).

When you become responsible

A product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to the address you gave us at the time you placed the order.

Where further information is needed

We may need further information from you before we can complete an order (for example, confirmation as to fabric selection, size etc.). We will contact you by phone or email to advise and seek further information if this is the case. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in providing the product caused by your failure or delay to provide such information.

RIGHT TO CHANGE YOUR MIND

Except for bespoke products made to your specifications, you have the right to change your mind and return a product to us within 14 days of receipt.

You should email us for details of where to return your product. You must bear the cost of returning the product and are responsible for it until it is delivered to us, unless the product has been mis-described or is faulty.

General wear and tear does not mean that a product is faulty.

Refunds

We will refund you for the cost of the product/s (and, if relevant, the costs of postage) by the method used for payment within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

All goods must be returned in their original packaging and unused. We reserve the right to refuse to refund you the full amount, or at all, where this is not the case.

PROBLEMS AND CONCERNS

How to tell us about problems

We hope you will be thrilled with our products. However, if you have any problems or complaints about any product received from us, please contact us.

Please email us at contact@fawnandblue.com.

As a very small business, reviews are particularly important to us. We would therefore ask that you contact us and give us the opportunity to resolve any issues before giving us negative feedback.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

The price of our products (which includes VAT) is shown by the product on each product.

We take all reasonable care to ensure the price is accurately displayed. However, if we become aware of an error which affects your order, we will advise you as soon as possible before we accept your order.
All products and delivery costs must be paid for in full before delivery is made.

SAFETY AND LIABILITY

Safety

All our products are made with safety in mind. Whilst our products will always be stylish and beautiful, this is never at a cost to safety. All our metal hardware is welded to ensure it’s as strong as possible. We use extremely hardwearing webbing which does not weaken or rot when exposed to nature’s elements. All collars and leads are sewn on an industrial machine using nylon thread.

However, no webbing is “chew proof”. It’s important to check your collar and lead regularly for signs of damage. Cosmetic damage (for example, to the decorative fabric) will not affect safety. If you are unsure and need advice, please contact us.

Suitability of our products

Whilst we are always happy to advise and guide you, it is your responsibility to ensure the accessories you use for your dog or cat are suitable. In placing an order, you accept responsibility for your ensuring our product is suitable for your dog/cat and that you use our products for their intended purpose.

Liability

We accept no responsibility for any loss or damages sustained by you or any third party unless it is caused by our negligence.

Statutory rights

This agreement will not affect your statutory rights.
